Austin Community Foundation

Website Redesign

Role
UI/UX, design, creative strategy while employed as Senior Designer at The Honor Roll.
Goal
Implement ACF's new visual identity in an easy-to-navigate website that clearly defines and highlights the foundation's offerings and involvement as a data-driven catalyst for positive change in the community.
Approach
Using personas (and interview feedback) developed by the The Honor Roll + ACF, we made the website easier-to-navigate and more relevant for its visitors.

Desktop

A modular layout approach enabled quick design and dev time, a cohesive website, and the ability to spin up new, on-brand page templates easily.
The site translates 100% from desktop to mobile, including previously unresponsive charts and graphs.
A simple navigation anticipates the needs of first-time visitors and fund holders alike.
Ample but strategic use of bright colors within the ACF palette reinforce the individual funds.
But wait, there's more!
I led development of ACF's visual identity leading up to this eventual site redesign. In addition to the core branding, I designed visual directions and websites for various fund events. For print, I worked on a neat direct mail piece printed in neon, some beautiful invitations, and covetable swag.
